An August ’44 Surprise ©

Getting the Soldier of the Day ready for tomorrow I discovered that Company G of the 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment wrote a detailed history day in and day out for their time in Normandy (August Morning Reports)

Went through the rest of the Regiment and it was on Company G that created this timeless wonder.  As a footnote August 1944 was when the 507th left the 82nd Airborne Division and became part of the 17th Airborne Division.

Enjoy!
