A Bad Spot

Between June 17 and June 19, 1944 in the area of Cormolian, France 4 soldiers from the 16th Infantry Regiment 1st Infantry Division lost their lives and 5 were wounded. One soldier from Co A and three from Co F lost their lives and 5 wounded soldiers were from Co F as well.

There is a common thread to this narrative as Co A and Co F held the same ground one after the other. No need to write the story as the Morning Reports & Co A’s history paint the picture.
